Animals Asia has rescued three adult moon bears from a notorious bear bile farming hotspot in northern Vietnam and brought them home to our new sanctuary in the beautiful Bach Ma National Park.
Today Animals Asia is rescuing a bear who has a different story to the hundreds of others who have suffered before them, and continue to suffer, on bile farms. This bear has a name.
One week after Buzz and Armstrong become the first bears to be rescued into our new sanctuary in Vietnam, Animals Asia rushes to rescue Apollo. With Apollo’s rescue, the province of Hai Duong is declared bear bile farm free.
We have lift off! Animals Asia has completed their first moon bear mission to end bear bile farming in Vietnam by rescuing the first two bears to our new sanctuary.
It has been a busy few weeks at Animals Asia with the rescue of three bears in Vietnam. During late July and early August, Bonnie and Clyde and Kindness have all been rescued from bile farms and brought to our centre in Tam Dao.
In this, Animals Asia’s 25th year, it’s heartening to see how much we have achieved together for the animals of Asia.
